Caroline Church Limited is the manufacturer and wholesaler of a high-end designer clothing label, with an office, retail store, and workroom in Auckland. As well as producing seasonal ready-to-wear collections, the brand also offers made to measure bridal and special occasion wear.
Duties included:
- » Working with the Designer to develop seasonal ranges including selecting fabric and trims, and designing specialty fabrics.
- » Showing and selling seasonal ranges to wholesale clients.
- » Leading the development and design of embroideries and screen-prints for seasonal ranges and promotional material, and overseeing all aspects of the sampling and production. Software used included Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, and Corel PhotoPaint.
- » Leading the design for branded promotional items, including footwear and lingerie, for charity fundraising.
- » Designer Jandals sold 1,500 units nationwide through Number 1 Shoe stores, with $5 from each pair sold benefiting the Kidscan charity. Caroline Church Ltd. was one of 7 designers to be chosen to submit a jandal design.
- » Patternmaking - including fit adjustments and manual grading.
- » Sampling - cutting, altering fit to produce completed samples, and sample machining.
- » Production management - cutting small production runs, ordering fabrics and trims, and liaising with suppliers and subcontractors.
- » Training and general supervision of junior staff and work experience students.
- » Made to measure - including bridal clients - from initial consultations, through to alterations and hand finishing.
- » Artwork for swatchbooks and spec sheets, and compiling seasonal catalogues.

Charade Fashions Ltd. is the manufacturer and retailer of a women's designer clothing label, with an office, workroom, and 4 retail stores in Auckland.
Duties included:
- » Sample cutting.
- » Patternmaking - including alterations and manual grading.
- » Sketching garments using Corel Draw and creating specification sheets.
- » Liaising with trims suppliers and sourcing trims for sampling.
- » Approving first-off garments for production.
- » Production management - visits to factories, bulk quality control and problem solving, and ordering trims and linings.
- » Leading the development and production of seasonal style catalogues for wholesale clients and retail staff.
- » Leading the development and design of promotional material such as retail signage, retail store VIP letters, and retail store carry bags.
- » Developing the design, and organising the production for screen-printed t-shirts for major promotional campaigns.
Identity Fashions Ltd.
Retail Assistant

Identity Fashions Ltd. is a retailer of contemporary women's clothing, with multiple stores throughout New Zealand stocking fashionable brands such as Verge, VSSP, and Gabriella Knitwear.
Duties included:
- » Sole responsibility of retail store for one day a week, as well as regular work during the week.
- » Customer service, cash handling, tidying and merchandising stock, window dressing, and training staff.
- » Assisting with warehouse - distribution, labelling, and delivering stock to retail stores.

I have a keen interest in sports including indoor netball and tennis, and for the past ten years I have been developing my netball umpiring skills to achieve national qualifications. I am particularly passionate about sewing, painting, and cooking, as well as being an avid reader who likes to keep up to date with current affairs.
